The origin of Ayurved is from Lord Bhrahma. Lord Bhrahma is considered primordial factor of the creation of this universe. Lord Bhrahma is the propounder of Ayurved but, thou are not inventor.

Lord Bhrahma obtains the knowledge of Ayurved by remembering it, and passed to Daksha Prajapati, he passed this knowledge to the two Aswinikumar, they passed it to Lord Indra.

Rushi Bharadwaj was deputed to get the knowledge of Ayurved to Lord Indra. Then Bharadwaj imparted this knowledge to the devoted students for the benefit of people in the world 5000 years ago.
